_biomes
The Scarlet mountains are unique mountaintop biomes with a dark-red color scheme. This color scheme is obtained with a combination of Deepslate, Netherrack and Deepslate redstone ores, and sometimes Crimson nyllium found on the surface. This makes the Scarlet mountains one of the new biome with an abundance of one type of ores, here, Redstone ores.
