The Hefty pickaxe can be found on an armor stand in the blacksmith room, which as a chance to be found in the Forbidden castle.

This item can be renamed without loosing its effect, but it will lose its font color.
Possible upgrades
The Hefty pickaxe can be upgraded with Netherite on a Smithing table without losing its ability.
