The {{BOLDPAGENAME}} is a spawn egg which, upon use, will spawn a [[Ghastling]]. The [[Ghastling]] can be fed by right-clicking it with fire charges, which makes it follow the player around. Feeding the Ghastling also grants the ''Feed The Beast'' advancement.

The [[Ghastling]]'s purpose is to protect the player from Ghasts. If a Ghast fireball comes close to the [[Ghastling]], the [[Ghastling]] will zap the fireball.
